What is
your
minimum
fabric cut?
1/4 of a metre, half a metre for polycottons
Are colours
accurately
represented
on your
website?
We try our very best to show colours of products
accurately but there may be a slight variation in
shade on some products.
Can I order
over the
phone?
Yes, we can take card payments over the phone
and you can either collect your items in store or
we can post them to you.
Do we take
international
orders?
We can take international orders online up to 2kg
of items. If you're struggling to check out for an
international order, please email us to enquire about
your order.

 

My parcel is
taking a
long time to
arrive. What
should I do?

Many parcels have been delayed by the Royal Mail
strikes that have been occurring since October. If
your parcel still hasn't arrived...

2nd class: 15 working days
1st class: 11 working days
Special Delivery: 6 working days

...after you received shipping confirmation, then please
contact us and we will look into claiming for the lost
parcel with Royal Mail on your behalf.

I haven't
received
tracking
information
for my
order.
Tracking information is only available if you have
selected either special delivery or tracked shipping.
If you selected one of these options and haven't
received any tracking information then please email us.
Can I add
items to my
order after I
have placed
it?

If we haven't posted your order yet then we can add
items to your order. Please call us to tell us what you
would like to add. In some cases where the extra items
would take your parcel over a size class for shipping
then we may not be able to add the items and you will
need to place a separate order.

Do you do
sewing
machine
services?
We can pass your machine on to one of our trusted
servicers. Please see our info page for more information.
Why is my
yarn
knotted?
Knots in yarn is perfectly normal as the manufacturer
joins two pieces of yarn together. In some rare cases,
there are lots of knots in one ball of yarn. If this is the
case then please let us know.
Can I click
and collect
my order?

Yes. We offer click and collect in Material Needs in
Burnham-on-Sea and Threads in Minehead. Please
see our info page for instructions on click and collect
in Threads.

What's
parking like
for your
shop?

There is on-street parking around town in Burnham and
along the seafront. There are also 3 pay and display car
parks located opposite Lidl, on Marine drive, and at B&M. 

For Threads in Minehead, there is Summeland Pay and
Display Car Park right in front of the shop.
