This is a pre-printed piece of navy blue cotton fabric with a pattern of dragonflies. It's very handy for learning sashiko stitching.
The fabric measures 12" x 12" (31 cm x 31 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out. Sew through both layers to make a hand towel, or one layer to make a pillow.
Sashiko needles, thread and thimbles are available separately in our shop.
This type of cloth is called a "hana fukin", or little hand towel. You can complete the design with one skien of sashiko thread, or use more than one color for added contrast.
