Schmetz Easy Threading / Quick Threading Needles Size 80/12.  These needles have a groove at the side of the eye to avoid having to thread through the eye, making threading easy.  The size you require is basically dependant on the weight / material thickness and that of the thread you are working with. As a guide size 80s are the favourite and tend to work well with all lighter weight general fabrics.  For ease of identification Schmetz stamp the needle size on the shank of every needle they manufacture.
